On July 5, 2023 Where, Among Other Things, The Leaders Agreed To Continue
Cooperating In Various Areas To Maintain The Existing Relationship.

The Minister Of Energy, January Makamba And The Minister Of Energy Of Malawi, Ibrahim
Matola, Together Said That The Cooperation Will Bring Benefits To Both
Countries, Especially In The Electricity Sector.

In This Region. We Believe These Projects Will Benefit Our Countries Because
The Electricity Needs Are Still Great, This Cooperation Will Strengthen The
Relationship Between Our Countries," Said Makamba.
He Has Also Said That The Feasibility Study For The Construction
Of An Electricity Transmission Line That Will Connect Those Countries Has
Already Been Completed And Now They Are Looking For Funds To Begin
Implementation.
And Malawi's Minister Of Energy, Ibrahim Matola, Has Said
That Many Countries In Southern Africa And The East African Community Still Do
Not Have Enough Energy, So It Is Important To Have More Projects In That
Sector.
