Tanzania National Team
player Taifa Stars Novatus Dismas Miroshi (20) has joined Shakhtar Club of
Ukraine on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season, Nova has joined Shaktar
from Zulte Waregem in Belgium.
This will give him the
opportunity to write the history of playing in the UEFA Champions League in the
2023/2024 season and the Shaktar team is drawn in Group H with the teams of FC
Barcelona of Spain, FC Porto of Portugal and Royal Antwerp of Belgium.
Novatus Dismas was born
in Tanga on September 2, 2002 and started his football career in Azam FC's
youth team, later went to Biashara on loan and then returned to Azam FC before
2020 to move to Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel who in 2021/22 loaned him to Beitar
Tel Aviv where he played 26 matches and scored one goal.
In 2022 summer he joined
Zulte Waregem of Belgium for three years where he played 38 matches and
provided 2 assists, Novatus started playing for Taifa Stars for the first time
on September 2 2021 until now he has played 13 matches for Taifa Stars and
scored 2 goals.
