A 47-YEAR-OLD PASTOR From California, USA Is In Trouble After
Being Accused Of Paying Killers Nearly $40,000 (Sh5.3m) To Shoot His Daughter's
Boyfriend.
The Pastor, Samuel Pasilla Was One Of Two Men Arrested In
Connection With The Murder-For-Hire Investigation That Began Last Year After
The Attempted Murder In Riverside. The Target, However, Was Not Killed In The
Attack But Was Injured.
In A Statement On Tuesday, The Riverside Police Department Said
Mr. Pasillas Was Arrested On March 13 And Charged With Murder, Conspiracy To
Commit Murder, Attempted Murder And Assault With A Deadly Weapon.
Juan Manuel Cebreros, 55, Was Also Arrested On Suspicion Of
Conspiracy To Murder, Attempted Murder And Assault With A Deadly Weapon.
Police Did Not Immediately Identify Any Other Suspects. The
Investigation Stemmed From A Shooting Incident On Oct. 21, When A Man Drove
Himself To The Hospital With Gunshot Wounds And Reported Being Attacked While
Driving Around 1 P.M.
The Man Who Was Shot, Who Was Not Identified By Authorities, Said
Another Car Pulled Up Alongside Him As He Approached Plainview Street.
Then, Shots Began To Be Fired. Following A Thorough Investigation,
Detectives Determined That The Attack Was A Homicide.
The Man Who Was Targeted Was Dating A Woman Whose Father Is A
Pastor In A Church In The City Of Victorville. The Police Report Mentioned Mr.
Pasillas As The Pastor. Investigators Found Evidence That Mr. Pasillas Met With
The Men He Paid And Gave Them Information About The Target, Including Where He
Would Be On The Evening Of The Shooting.
The Police Said That Mr. Pasillas Paid Nearly $40,000 And That He
Had Examined The Victim In The Weeks Before The Shooting.The Suspects Were
Arrested On March 13 Following An Investigation.
Mr. Pasillas And Mr. Cebreros Was Held And Given Bonds Of 1 Million Dollars.. They Are Expected To Appear In Court On March 26.
