A RESIDENT Of Masekelo Ward, Pendo Samson Methusela (37) Is Being Held By The Police Force On Charges Of Injuring Timithoy Magesa (35) By Cutting Various Parts Of His Body With A Razor Blade, Causing His Death.
Today August 25, 2025, Shinyanga Regional Police Commander, Janeth Magomi, Explained That The Incident Occurred On August 23, 2025 At 3 Pm At The Bwashee Guest House In Ndala Ward, Shinyanga Municipal Council.
“Before The Murder, Pendo Was Called By Another Woman Using The Deceased’s Phone, Warning Her To Leave Him, Claiming That He Was The One She Loved. After Some Time, Timothy (The Deceased) Sought Out Pendo And Asked Him To Meet At The Guest House To Talk,” Said Magomi.
He Added, “However, When They Met, They Started Arguing About The Woman Who Called Him, Which Led To Pendo Using A Razor He Had To Cut Timothy On His Left Arm And Stomach, Causing Him To Bleed Profusely.”
Magomi Explained That The Deceased Died While Receiving Treatment At The Shinyanga Municipal Hospital, While Stating That The Incident Occurred Due To Jealousy Over Love.
He Said That When The Legal Procedures Are Completed, The Suspect Will Be Brought To Court.
