The event is likely to be decorated with the slim and lean iPhone 17 Air, a model that replaces the iPhone 16 Plus. The rest of the models will be slated for a spec bump.

Will the September 9 event only launch iPhones?

As usual, the September launch event is not limited to just the new smartphone lineup. It is also expected to showcase other key Apple products like the Apple Watch Series 11, the Apple Watch Ultra 3, and a new version of the popular AirPods Pro. Additionally, a new Apple TV 4K and a third-generation HomePod are also on the list of potential announcements.

However, Apple is also expected to host a new launch event in October to announce the M5-powered Macs, possibly revealing the updated MacBook Pro models and iPad Pro.
