A LAW student at Mzumbe Ndaki University in Mbeya, Shyrose Mahande (21), who was allegedly kidnapped by unknown people on Saturday and then began demanding money from her parent, Dr. Mabula Mahande, has been brutally murdered by being set on fire.
Speaking after receiving news of her son's death, Dr. Mabula said that on Saturday, September 13, 2025, she was called by people she did not recognize and told her that they needed money to release her son while sending her videos that tortured her.
The body of the deceased Shyrose has been found burned at a business stall in the Nane Nane area of Mbeya.
