Ebi gives respect to the coach who raised her talent

 


THE captain of the national women's football team in Nigeria (Super Falcons), Onome Ebi, has met the coach who discovered her talent in football, Paul Okwudili Nnakwe popularly known as PALEPA. Several days after being thrown out of the World Cup by losing 4-2 to England on penalties.

40-year-old Onome Ebi, this year has set a record for being the first African soccer player, for both sexes [male and female], to participate in 6 different phases of the FIFA World Cup.

The Super Falcons were eliminated by penalty kicks on August 7 by England, who advanced to the round of 16 of the biggest tournament in the world. In the game played in Brisbane.
