The Tanzania Examinations Council (NECTA) has announced the results of the second form national examination today January 07, 2024 in the city of Dar es Salaam where a total of 592,741 out of 694,769 students with results which is equal to 85.31% have passed where they have obtained grades I, II, III and IV.
"In 2022, the number of successful students was 539,645 equal to 85.18%, so there has been an increase in success by 0.13% along with an increase in the number of 53,096 students equal to 9.84% of students who had the opportunity to continue with the third form compared to the year 2022"
"Among the Students who succeeded in continuing to the third form, Girls are 314,949 equal to 83.66 percent and Boys are 277,792 equal to 87.28%, the statistics show that Boys have succeeded well compared to Girls"
NECTA has also announced the results of the fourth grade national examination held in 2023 where a total of 1,287,934 students out of 1,545,330 with the same results and 83.34 percent have passed by getting grades A, B, C and D. (Swipe for the fourth grade results ).
