Minister of State Office of the President Regional Administration and Local Government (OR-TAMISEMI) Mohammed Mchengerwa has said that the government expects to provide 23,000 jobs for Teachers and Health Officers soon where the ministry has already got the chance to provide those jobs.
Minister Mchengerwa has noted this while in Morogoro region while closing the Working Session of the Assistant Administrative Secretaries Education and Education Officers of all Councils in the country, who have met with the aim of discussing the implementation and improvement of the education sector.
He said that the government has continued to provide teaching jobs where for the year 2022/23 a total of 13,130 teachers were hired and assigned to work in various areas in the country, while he succeeded in promoting 227,263 teachers as well as paying the teachers of new jobs their entitlements.
"I realize that for this month of January, the President's Office TAMISEMI has an employment permit and we will soon announce the jobs of about 23,000 Teachers and Health Officers who will be employed soon" said Minister Mchengerwa
Earlier mentioning the success of the Government in the improvement of the Education sector, Minister Mchengerwa said, the government has allocated 1.2 billion shillings for the improvement of the secondary education infrastructure for the period of 2021/25 while the government spends 33.3 billion shillings every month for education free of charge.
