NIGERIAN MUSIC Davido has revealed that veteran artists Don Jazzy and D'Banj inspired him to get into music.
Speaking in an interview, Davido said that at the age of 14, he witnessed how the two managed to take African music beyond the borders of this continent.
"I saw them collaborate with big artists in the world like Kanye West and Snoop Dogg, which surprised me and really impressed me to see African music transcending borders," said Davido.
He added that the big step taken by Don Jazzy and D'Banj was what led him to make the decision to return to Nigeria from the United States, to begin his musical journey.
In addition, Davido is currently one of the biggest stars in Africa, with millions of fans and great success on international platforms.
