DC MAHAWE DISTRIBUTED EQUIPMENT TO STORAGE FOR THE CITIES OF MLOWO AND VWAWA

MBOZI DISTRICT
Head Ester Mahawe has handed over bins for storing waste in the towns of Mlowo and Vwawa provided by the Tanzania Roads Agency (Tanroads) through groups that clean the Tanzam highway.

With ENEA MWANJI:

The distribution of 54 waste storage bins took place yesterday where DC Mahawe accompanied by the District security committee and some Tanroads leaders led by Acting Engineering Manager Suleiman Bishanga started handing over the equipment in the small town of Mlowo to the old stand while in the town of Make sure the distribution is done in the Ichenjezya Ward office.

Speaking in the exercise, District Head Ester Mahawe thanked President Samia Suluhu Hassan for his idea of giving grants to young people and asking young people to take advantage of the opportunity that is in front of them by forming groups and registering so that they can get jobs under the Tanroads contract and avoid residency of the street and doing inappropriate actions for the community when the money is in Tanroads.

"As Tanroads have said, there is a lack of youth groups here, but here I see their elders already in their groups and working for Tanroads. Young people are not ashamed to stay unemployed and complain that there are no jobs when there are millions of Tanroads. Let's change. Create groups and register them in Bomani. Follow the procedures. of prayers, Tanroads, start working" said Mahawa

Before welcoming the District Head, Tanroads Acting Manager Suleimani Bishanga said the procedure for distributing the equipment is due to the instructions of President Samia Suluhu Hassan to Tanroads to ensure that a portion is allocated for Youth, Elderly and Mothers' Groups which in Songwe's case those groups provide sanitation service in the roads under Tanroads so through the money they have decided to make 54 sanitary bins and distribute them in the towns of Mlowo and Vwawa.

Mlowo ward councilor, Jacksoni Mwanda has thanked Tanroads for providing the bins which will help to keep the environment clean while Ichenjezya ward councilor, Bahati Mbugi has said that the provision of such equipment shows that Tanroads cares about the people.
