Flight To Madagascar After A Body Search Revealed Suspicious Items Hidden In
His Private Parts.
"This Prompted A
Quick Investigation Which Led To The Discovery Of 600 Grams Of The Highly
Narcotic Drug. An Examination Of The Recovered Product Revealed That It Was A
Cocaine Product," The DCI Said In A Statement On Wednesday.
Following The Arrest, The
Police Interrogated The Suspect Where He Revealed That He Had Been Hired To Do
The Job By A Ugandan Citizen Living In Nairobi.
Detectives Searched For
Another Suspect, Ms Harriet Asaba And Found Her In The CBD CBD Where They Also
Arrested Her.
The Suspect Later Led The
Officers To His Office Where Another 33 Cocaine Pills Were Found.
Three Other Suspects; Shirah
Nangozi From Uganda, Esther Wanjiru And Sophia Kathambi, Were Found At The
Crime Scene And Arrested.
"A Second Suspect
Item Was Also Confirmed To Contain Cocaine, Weighing Approximately 396
Grams," The DCI Said.
Detectives Have Explained
That Further Investigations Are Being Conducted To Find The Person Intended To
Receive The Drug In Madagascar.
