“After The Successful Release Of Her Chart-Topping Debut Album On 22 March 2024, The Amapiano Pop/R&B Sensation Is Touching Down On Home Soil To Celebrate Her Win With Friends, Family, And Fans Alike,” Said The Department.


It Added That The 22-Year-Old Johannesburg Singer Has Been Burning The Midnight Oil Flying The Country’s Flag High, And Many South Africans Are Expected To Gather At ORTIA To Give Her Resounding Cheers When She Touches Down.


“It Has Been Nothing But An Upward Spiral For The Songstress, Who Was Catapulted To International Stardom After Her 2023 Multi-Platinum Single “Water” Made Top Ten Charts In Multiple Countries, Including The United States And United Kingdom,” Said The Department.


The Hit Song, Water, Became The First Song By A South African Solo Artist To Enter The US Billboard Hot 100 In 55 Years And Went On To Win The Inaugural Best African Music Performance Award During The 66th Instalment Of The Grammy Awards Last Month.


“That Instantly Made Tyla The Youngest African Artist To Win A Grammy Award And Was A Reassuring Nod That She’s Making The Right Moves In The Music Industry. “Many Of Her Tracks Have Charted In The Top 10 Across The Globe, Including Countries Like South Africa, The Maldives And Australia, And The Full Album Has Topped Charts In Tunisia And Papua New Guinea,” Said The Department.


The 14-Track Full Length Studio Album Features Artists Such As US Rapper Travis Scott On The “Water” Remix, Nigerian Singer-Songwriter, And Producer Tems On “No.1”, US Singer Becky G On “On My Body” And South African Producer Kelvin Momo On The Intro.
